In my spare time I Uber drive. I have my Little Blue Truck, sometimes randomly, I have time. Earlier in the year, I gave this gentleman, Richard Eeds a ride home. His car was in the shop, and I was driving the 4-7 pm timeframe. We got to talking, and I told him about the book I was working on, Between Two Freedoms.
He gave me his business card and told me to contact him when the book was done and he would help me promote it on his talk show.
Well, I finished the book, and reached out to him. Crickets.
So I sent him a copy of the book and a press kit. Voila! I got a call back.
On July 14, the day before my Santa Fe book event, Richard Eeds interviewed me about the book. The link is below if you want to take a listen. It was great fun, and I hope to do it again with other books in the future!
Elaine, connect with me via email. I have two interview possibilities for you. Patricia PS Love that you do Uber – so rich….

Elaine, Nice job, seems like a way to reach those that might have not found your book through other channels. I would have liked him to have to read some parts of the book to give people a feel for the prose. Have the experience rather than talk about the experience. Nobody will ever out work you. Very impressive! Bill
