Gordon and Nancy Fredrickson of Lakeville, Minnesota have been writing farm books for kids for many years. I met them at the Twin Cities Book Festival at the State Fairgrounds. The Fredrickson’s are compiling stories about putting up hay, so I have written a short piece about my experience working with Tom, my oldest brother, the summers of ’74 & ’75 when the two of us put up all the hay on the farm.
